Youth Yoga Initiative is an organization founded by Kelley J. Boyd and Jeanne Seaver designed to support healthier lifestyles for American children through the study and practice of yoga. YYi instills a sense of well being in Youth with the introduction of Fitness, Health and Life Skills through Yoga.

  • Offer free yoga classes, to encourage an overall wellness and build character of our youth in the community.
  • To incorporate yoga classes for youth on site as part of a school's PE curriculum with no extra costs incurred by the school.
  • Build confidence in our youth through yoga and integrating strategies to build self esteem.
    • Teach Fitness, Health and Life Skills through Yoga
    • Promoting responsible decision making and anger management skills
  • Focus on obesity in youth
    • Chronic diseases linked to obesity have become a national catastrophe. Jeanne Seaver states, "American children today are at risk of having lower average life spans than their parents, the first time there's been such a possibility in history."
    • "We have to teach our youth they are worth the effort to change" says Jeanne Seaver.
